Hi sweetheart, you're gonna have to be a little patient as my voice takes some time
to download to your computer...and you're gonna have to turn the volume up a little
so you can hear me...sorry, it was late and I couldn't speak all too loudly, plus
the quality of the recording isn't all too good despite the fact that the file size
of the recording is still pretty large...regardless, I hope that you like this gesture
and think that it's sweet...cuz it is...I'll try to figure a way to record my voice in
a more efficient manner...well, I just wanted to finish this page so you could look at
it and enjoy. Maybe this will help take your mind off some things...ha ha, bet you
never had anyone make you a web page...aren't I just so romantic??? I know, I know...
Anyways, I just wanted to let you know that I'm always here for you and that if you
want to talk with me or yell at me or snuggle with me or whatever, I'm just a phone call
away...I know things may seem really bad right now, but in our darkest hours we always
find a glimmer a light that shows us that there is hope...you hang in there kiddo and I
know that you'll be fine...don't make too worried about you...Okay, I know that this web
page isn't all too great (...yet...) but give me some more time...I was kinda putting off
this project for a while but I decided today would be a good day to spring it on you...
thought you could use a laugh and chuckle at my attempt to be technical...can't take the history

April 3, 1999 -- Hi sweetie, I'm taking a break from doing my research right now so I decided to work
a little more on our web-page...I went shopping last night with Josie and got a present for this girl
that I'm interested in...it's her birthday coming up, and I hope that she likes her present...
oh, by the way, I totally talked to Aileen about you today...it's so weird talking to her now...I don't
know, but it just seems so weird...she seems distant, and I guess it doesn't help that I'm a little
uncomfortable whenever I talk to her...don't ask me what I'm thinking, but this is how it is now...I'm
just waiting for this semester to finally finish...but I also am realizing that this is my last semester
of college, and then I'm actually going to begin my life...scary, non? I miss you, and I just want to see you
and be with you...only after this stupid research paper is done, though...geez, I hate having this thing
hanging over me...oh well, I'm just way out of it now...are you coming up for my research presentation? Please

April 11, 1999 - Hi sweetheart...I downloaded a little something on
the web and because I was too cheap to actually pay for it, I didn't
actually send it to you...but instead, I downloaded it and thought
that you would think that it was cute...just click on the spinning
globe (I told you that with time this page was going to be decent) and
save the file to your desktop...make sure that it's on your desktop so
when you want to open it, you just have to go to the desktop to click
it open...if you don't understand I'll explain later...I thought that
the globe was appropriate because you are the center of my world, and
though that has caused some drama lately, YOU, Ms.
Pauline Pham, make me happy...I'm sorry for putting us through what I
have lately, but I just want to be honest with you...and that is how I
felt, however ludicrous it might have been...I miss you...I hope you
